Hi, I'm Mattia. I'm a photographer and writer based in Barcelona whose work merges street and documentary photography to examine the interplay between individuals, society, and the inner self. My interests span identity, belonging, rituals, and how people bond and gather despite the modern push toward individualization and the digitalization of relationships.

Trained as an engineer and designer, I always pushed to learn more. I now fully focus on words and photography as a means to communicate and investigate different realities and the self. My work experience in facilitating and managing people taught me that the best way to understand them is to ask, listen, and get out of the way.

The streets are my way to keep my eyes and intuition sharp, my way to stay connected to life and understand how society evolves.
